The d'k tahg (or daqtagh) is the traditional Klingon warrior's knife. It consists of a single, straight-edged primary blade and two curved secondary blades, which may be either fixed or hinged. It is commonly used in hand-to-hand combat, and has great ceremonial value in Klingon culture. The handle sometimes bears an emblem representing the members of its owner's house. memory-alpha.org
